With over 21 years of experience, Jason is a highly skilled stylist based at our Cheynes, George Street salon. From short textured cuts to Hollywood blowdries, every appointment is approached with creativity and personality!
What inspired you to follow a career in the industry?
Ever since I was young, I had been creative and artistic, so it made sense to venture into the world of hairdressing.
How would you describe your personal style as a hairdresser?
It varies widely! Totally dependant upon the client and their needs.
If you could style the hair of any celebrity, past or present, who would it be?
Victoria Beckham! I would love to style her hair as it always looks so perfectly effortless.
What’s the go-to product/tool you can’t live without?
I love the Nioxin Bodifying Foam, as it helps to create volume and gives hair great hold for styling.
What do you enjoy most about working with clients at your Cheynes salon?
I love making clients feel good about themselves, and having them feel at home in my chair.
Who are your style icons, or sources of creative inspiration?
I don’t really have any favourite influencers as I’m not on social media. But a celebrity would be Coleen Rooney — her hair always looks immaculate and she carries herself so well.
Favourite thing about working in your Cheynes George Street?
My team! I have a great team surrounding me, and of course my clients are all amazing too. I’m always happy to extend my clientele and make everyone feel incredible.
How are you spending an ideal day off in Edinburgh?
Walking the dogs, running, spending time with my husband, love a massage — and going for food in my favourite restaurant, The Spanish Butcher.
