At Cheynes, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional hairdressing and care to every client who walks through our doors.
In order to protect our team’s time and ensure availability for all, we’ve introduced a Booking Fee Policy for new clients — in place from 2nd June 2025.

We know things can come up, and plans sometimes change — and we’ll always do our best to remain flexible.
This policy simply helps us manage our bookings fairly and avoid last-minute gaps that can be difficult to fill.
Cheynes Cancellation Policy

NEW CLIENT BOOKING FEE
If you’re visiting us for the first time, a small booking fee will now apply:
£20 for Cutting or Blow-Dry appointments
£30 for all Technical Services
This fee will be deducted from your final bill on the day, or we’re happy to carry it forward to your next visit — whatever suits you best.

Booking by phone? Don’t worry — we’ll take your booking fee then too.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.
With 24 hours (or more) notice, your booking fee can either be refunded or transferred to your rescheduled booking — whichever you’d prefer.
While 48 hours’ notice is preferred (and appreciated!) for rescheduling, we are happy to honour your booking fee with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, will result in the booking fee being retained as a cancellation charge.
